As a person who graduated from a junior college in Singapore, as well as graduated from a university in United Kingdom, I have spent many years living and studying in English speaking countries. My number one step of learning anything is to first enjoy the process. Enjoying the process, in turn, will breed consistency and promote a more effective memory retention.
During my days of learning English language, I find that the best methods for me are through music, movies, TV shows, and books, because I enjoy doing those activities the most. I aim to guide students to find what they love to do, and turn it into an English language learning medium, as I have. My ultimate goal would be for students to still continue learning even when I am no longer there to guide them.
