I could see some learners do understand when they listen to people but, are unable to reply back, because they are afraid to say wrong things or they are just not used to it in the first place. As a speaking partner, I want to provide a safe space where tutees can grow in trying and learn the most out of it. I'm confident through my experience that I can handle different levels of ESL learners, navigate their learning plans, and accommodate their best interest in learning.
