An undergraduate from NUS Business School, a startup enthusiast, and an educator. I am passionate about teaching, and have been doing so in many occasions. From starting a scholarship preparation programme, becoming a teaching assistant, mentoring groups of students from Japan and UAE, I have connected with students from a rich tapestry of backgrounds and cultures. I believe that everyone is capable of learning any new language of skill and I always strive to mould my students to be an independent thinker.
I find a sense of achievement in helping students navigate through their learning journey. My straightforward and curious nature are able to help students understand and break down a complex concept into something that is easily digestible. I have also been under the tutelage of various exceptional mentors who have motivated me to continue learning and teaching to benefit others.

Andreas is one of my students in my Japanese conversation class, and surprisingly, he's also my English teacher. His English proficiency far surpasses my expectations. While I'm confident in my vocabulary, his is easily twice the size. Thanks to his teaching style and extensive vocabulary, my English has improved significantly, particularly in business terminology, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I wholeheartedly recommend his English class to anyone seeking a highly knowledgeable and effective instructor.
The learning experience is engaging and fun. We're not just taught grammar, but everything. As a beginner in English, I appreciate that the basics, like tenses, are explained very well. What's also great is that there are different teachers/mentors for each session, so learning is comfortable. The mentors always ask what we want to learn, so we can prioritize what we need at that moment.
